-Friendship-

How many times have you been sorely tested by your friends? Well, for one I was during my recent trip overseas. Friends that seemingly were ok with you suddenly turn out to be your worst companions EVER.

I guess it was due to the different interests all of us had that resulted in tension during the trip. On one hand, my friend and I were not exactly that excited or gaga over Chinese architeture or culture. On the other hand, the other two were into such stuff. Hence the conflict on the second last day when almost everyone had different ideas on how to spend it.

Anyway in the end, went out shopping with my new found friends during the trip on the last 2 days. It was truly one mad dash for me but ended up with 1 pair of boots, 1 jacket, souvenirs for friends, 1 shirt for my choir friend, 2 bags + various books. It was indeed fun shopping in Shanghai! Do you know that Jimi's books which goes up to 20 plus in Singapore goes for less than 10 in China?? Gosh..I truly was surprised. And of course the best bargain had to the cross stitch shop I stumbled upon in Shanghai. Bought a cushion and hanging ornament on which I could stitch. I am mad but I always buy cookbooks + cross stitch stuff no matter which country I'm touring. Now who will be the blessed recipients?? Hee.. I honestly do wish I had more time to spend there so I could have toured the places of interest as well.

Hm, perhaps next time I can go there on a free and easy trip..Was a pity I did not get to meet 80 in Shanghai though. Would have been fun touring the musuem with the whole bunch of them.

Hm..I shall figure out how to post the pictures so that I can show all of you. Yeah~! Hols are almost ending, need to find time to start doing my work..
